  • Camai and Bobby

Camai and Bobby's Wedding.....so much fun! Everyone was so friendly and great to work with. The Marriott ballroom was so brilliantly decorated and all the flowers really made the whole thing gorgeous. (great job Jessica from Blushing Blooms!)

Camai looked so beautiful and Bobby......just too cool man!

It's so obvious how in love they are and I wish them the best and many happy years of blissful marriage. Bobby said it best....."I love this woman so much I married her TWICE!" LOL

  • Arctic Thunder Airshow

So today we went to the Arctic Thunder Airshow at Elmendorf Airforce Base. Very cool. Last one was two years ago when they had the Navy Blue Angels. This year they had the U.S.A.F. Thunderbirds. We had actually planned on going yesterday, but the traffic was sooooooooo bad (moved about 200 yards in the course of an hour), that we decided to wait until today to go. Very smart move. The weather wasn't as "pretty", a few more clouds in the sky, and I think that might've held some people off. I LOVE airplanes and this was certainly a good show. The P-51 never disappoints with it's arial acrobatics and I never tire of seeing the F-22 showing off their arial agility either! One of the really cool things also was Cpt. Howard "Mike" Hunt. He's 86, was a fighter pilot during WWII and STILL flies!!! He was flying a T-6 which is a training plane that they used to train the fighter pilots for WWII. He was great to chat with and he's, quite possibly, the only living WWII fighter pilot that still flies. The kids enjoyed the jets, the food, and of course, the souvenir stands. lol Graham got to sit in a Humvee and "play" with the 50cal. gun mounted in it. He thought that was pretty cool. Overall, it was a good day and we had fun together. These are the days that they say to remember because the kids get older and are gone before you know it. I know it sounds sappy and sentimental (and those of you that know me, know i'm not a sappy, sentimental kind of guy), but I look forward to more days like this with them.

  • Olivia & Jed's Wedding

What a great wedding! Thanks to Olivia and Jed for having me as their photographer. You guys were great and you couldn't have had a more beautiful day to have a wedding. A quiet deck, overlooking the ocean, on a gorgeous (windy...lol) June day in Kincaid Park in Anchorage. Olivia looked beautiful and Jed was cool and debonaire in his tux. A gorgeous couple! Also, thanks to all the groomsmen (and Carlos) for being good sports and fun to work with. You guys rock!!! And no more white gold for Bunky! lol I had a great time partying with you at the Tanglewood Chalet and we got some GREAT images of the day (and the partying!) Stay tuned to the website www.sparkphoto.com for the coffee table book design!

  • A nice warm day.

Fur Rondy today. Went down to see the snow sculptures and the Ice sculptures. It was a nice balmy 30 degrees out so it wasn't too terribly cold. Alot of people out too. Was gonna go to the carnival, but dang.....are you crazy?? LOL Riding carnival rides in 30 degree weather?!?!? I guess i'm not a TRUE alaskan yet. Maybe next year. lol So it's been a chilled out day. finishing up the preschool proofing and uploading images to the site and that's about it. Back to work tomorrow!
